Home Alone

I just got home from dropping Brent off at the airport. He is flying to Boston for his very first business trip! Exciting, huh? He is going to a conference for one of the software programs they use in risk management. He is excited. Not so much for the conference but he really likes Boston. He is staying here for $250/night. Thank goodness we get reimbursed!

The best part? It's MLB postseason and these guys have a home game tonight. He bought a ticket in one of the upper levels with an obstructed view for $75. Not too bad for a championship game. Attending a Sox game at Fenway Park is one of the items on his "things to do before I die" list, so I hope he gets some good pictures and souvenirs and of course I hope they win!

He comes home late Wednesday night so for the next couple of days I'll be here alone. It's not that big of a deal, I just really love my husband and never feel like I need a "break" or "time to myself". Don't get me wrong, I enjoy doing things that don't involve him but if I could spend 100% of my time with this man, I would! (Does that make me needy? Maybe. But what's wrong with being that attached to your husband? I say nothing. We are stuck together for eternity, I should probably like him. A lot.)

I'll miss you, Bubs!! Someday when I have more than 8 days off a year, I'll come on these trips with you.

Bummer - I thought you would be able to go with him! You can come hang out with me! I'm not nearly as cool or fun as Brent, but...I'll make silly faces at you and try to be entertaining!

It doesn't make you needy at all! I think it just goes to show that you've got a great relationship!

I think next year we may get 16 days off a year???? Isn't it after three years? You guys seriously are the cutest couple EVER!

You are needy, but then again we come from a really co-dependent family. Weird, since we're all kind of anti-social, too. I wonder how that works out.
Anyway, I feel your pain. Whenever Luis goes away, I have to sleep with the dog because otherwise I end up staying awake until 2 or 3 a.m. trying to avoid an empty bed.
Love you. If you get bored, call.

I completely understand! Adam is my best friend and the first person I want to be with to have a fun time. I like "girl time" but it's never felt necessary to my sanity.

Have a good couple of days! Hope it goes quick for you! :)

Boy, I feel your pain, yet my husband comes home each night. Sometimes I go days without seeing him for more than 5 min. It can be a bummer sometimes. But, when he "comes home" it sure is fun to see him. Thank goodness for cell phones it makes it easier to keep in touch with him while he is away.
Good Luck wednesday isn't to far away now!
