Date Night As Documented By My Phone's Camera

The night before I came out here to Arizona, Brent and I went to the Dodgers vs. Padres game. We like baseball. It was a good game. We won. By a lot.

We sat in this section,

it was very dirty afterwards.

We parked at the park down the hill and walked in. It saved us $15 and we didn't have to sit in this traffic to get out of the parking lot (which can take 45 minutes).

I love my husband. We have so much fun together.

Flashback Friday - Shampoo

Possibly the best smelling shampoo. Ever.

Too bad they don't make it anymore. I was thinking about the original version while I was washing my hair with this today.

The Makeshift Nanny

I am headed off to Apache Junction, Arizona today to see the Gordon's (my sister who married Brent's mission comp). Melissa is approximately 129 months pregnant. Ok, obviously that's an exaggeration but she is due in just a few days and I volunteered to take care of the other 2 little ones whilst the parents are in the hospital and to be a general helper/cook/reason to stay up late talking. Wish us luck!

The Anti-Sleeping Pill

While I was at Target yesterday, I felt like I would probably have a migraine by the end of the day (the tip off: vision changes & a general "fuzzy" feeling). I should have listened to my ever-so-smart-and-caring husband and just taken some of this stuff at 4pm as a "preemptive strike" but I was being my stubborn self and wanted to wait until I was actually hurting. Well, that didn't happen until about 7:15. One of these days I might learn that the amount of caffeine in this stuff is enough to keep me awake for days. I always forget. So, last night, I was up until after 1am. Today should be fun.

The kicker? This is the only remedy that has a 100% effectiveness rate (bless you sweet, sweet excedrin). So if I want my migraine gone asap, and for good, this is my go-to fix. I prefer to wait them out instead of taking pills but Brent can only massage my head for so long and sometimes sleep only postpones them and yesterday, I didn't want to deal with either of those, I just wanted it gone.
