Holy Hurricanes, Batman!

Brent works in the Catastrophe Management department at Farmers so during the summer he is pretty busy with all the hurricanes. He has 2 or 3 tabs open on our browser most of the time so that we can track what's going on. Hurricanes are crazy stuff and we've been following them, all summer. Obviously, right now we are focused on Ike. This is our favorite website to monitor them on.

I am getting nervous for Houston. I love Houston. I may not visit it much but it is where I called home from the time I was 6 years old, until I moved to BYU. It is a beautiful city. The area I grew up in, Klein, is where the temple was built when I was a Sophomore. The high school I went to was fantastic (academically, musically, and socially). I have very fond memories of growing up there, in the suburbs.

I hope Ike can calm down a bit before it hits land.

Good luck all you H-towners! Store up on food and water and flashlights and candles. I'll be thinking of you and praying you are all kept safe.
